Site Civil Engineer / Site Supervisor

Role Overview

As a Site Civil Engineer / Supervisor at Sri Skandan Construction™, you are the eyes and ears on the ground. You will ensure that structural drawings, rebar schedules, mortar mixes, and waterproofing treatments are executed with absolute precision and zero shortcuts.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Foundation & Leveling: Carry out site layout marking, excavation depth checks, and dumpy level readings for plinth beams and column footings.
• Reinforcement BBS Checking: Inspect rebar diameters, stirrup hook angles (135° bend), lap lengths, and cover blocks before granting pour clearance.
• Concrete Pour Monitoring: Supervise needle vibrator compaction, slump cone test compliance, and avoid honeycombing in columns/beams.
• Mandatory 21-Day Curing: Maintain the official water curing ponding logbook for slabs and hessian cloth wrapping for columns.
• Material Deliveries: Verify cement bag batch dates, Fe550D TMT steel tags, M-sand quality (silt content check), and coarse aggregates.
